Patients are able to communicate with their health care provider and ask health care related questions, in a secure and completely confidential manner. A response can usually be expected within

Request prescription refills
Prescription drugs cannot be refilled arbitrarily. Anyone on a medication should be monitored. The health care provider may suggest that you come in for evaluation if you have not been seen during an appropriate interval.
We will not refill prescriptions after 7 PM. It is important that you plan ahead when making refill requests.
Controlled Substances:
Controlled substances such as Xanax, Valium, Vicodin & other narcotics are closely regulated and we are required to monitor patients taking these medications very closely. Most of the time, patients requiring a controlled substance refill will need to be evaluated in person.
Request a referral to see a specialist
Insurance plans have different rules in regard to referrals. Some plans do not require referrals to be approved while others reimburse partially for out-of-network referrals. HMOs generally do not reimburse for out-of network referrals.
Patients can submit an online request for a referral to see a specialist. Once the request form is completed and submitted, we will review and respond back to the patient regarding the status of the request.
Requesting a referral can be a very cumbersome process, sometimes taking several days of review by the insurance company. If you need an urgent referral, please call us directly to discuss. The turnaround time for a referral can take up to seven days.
