Mariah A. Kornberg graduated from Emerson College in Boston, MA with a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech & Marketing.  She also has certificates in Aromatic Medicine & Reflexology from the Northwest College for Herbal and Aromatic Studies.

Over the years, Mariah has worked in the Integrative and Traditional Medical fields in many different capacities.  She worked as an office manager for COHBI Physicians PC in Boulder, CO, a medical office dedicated to toxicology and environmental exposures.  She co-owned Vital Nature, an herbal apothecary and school outside of Seattle, WA. And most recently pioneered the growth and expansion department for Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy in Boulder, CO. 

Mariah moved to Ouray in August of 2008 for a change of scenery and a chance to work with small businesses.  Moving to Ouray was one of the best life decisions she has made.  She met her future husband in Ouray, Ben DeGear.  In June they are getting married and in September, they are expecting their first child.
